The first Dyffryn Peris Community Assembly on the Climate took place in May 2022.

Fifty people from the area, who have been selected as Assembly members attended the first Assembly to meet and get to know each other, and make a start on the work of co-creating an Action Plan for the area.
During these first sessions the members discussed their hopes and fears about the assembly process and their experience of climate change. We also heard from local people and experts, and started to discuss and map out what resources and projects already exist locally.
Here is the full report from Dyffryn Peris’ first Assembly.
